Unveiled the new Yamaha WR450F 2016, the long time rumored new enduro bike from Yamaha is finally here and as expected it inherits most parts from the YZ motocross models. But lets check out which are the main features:
Totally new YZ450F Based engine design – a liquid cooled DOHC 4 stroke engine with 4 titanium valves. 5 speed transmission with specific modification for Enduro.
New Electric Start – Finally the new system lets you turn on the bike just pressing the handlebar button, so no need anymore to first press the fuel pump button and then the start. No more need to power on a main switch.
New Oversize Front Brake Disc – The new WR450F features a new oversize 270mm front brake disc for an improved controllability.
Radiator Fan – An oem radiator fan is mounted and comes stock with the new WR450F.
Optimized Clutch – The clutch system has been optimized in order to provide an increased reliability and durability.
Front Forks – The WR450F features YZ450F based front Kayaba suspensions.
Air Box Easy Access – The new airbox like the YZ450F gives easy access to the filter and the high level position keeps it protected from dust and provides a better air-flow.
Weight – The new WR450F has a weight of 122 kg
